Karen and Deon met in 2008, by amazing God-cumstances and share so many interests and ambitions. They are originally from Gauteng in South Africa and wish to travel far more than they already have.
Deon is a geologist, sound engineer, videographer, boat builder (and other forms f wood worker) and all-round smart man. Karen is a teacher, Bible-studyer, ambitious-to-be-writer, aspiring artist, mission-hearted individual.
They lived in Uganda ( home town Mbale) for a year (mostly in 2011). Then they lived in Mwanza, Tanzania, for most of 2012 into 2013. Exploration geology has since diminished, and after a year on the Lissataba Nature reserve in South Africa, Deon and Karen are doing really wildly different things in the wilderness of Northern Sweden. We are living in a beautiful tiny town, set among huge lakes and vast forests, looking for ways to make a difference.
Please look around, see what is happening as God’s plans unfold!
